“Ichiban: el primer latido” (“Ichiban: the first beat” in english) is the first show in Spain to fuse Taiko, the great Japanese drum, with other artistic disciplines such as flamenco, tap dance, contemporary dance, and Japanese calligraphy. Traditional musical compositions, along with the company’s original pieces, are paired with unique dance choreographies to create a one-of-a-kind performance that will transport you to another place and touch your soul. Pure rhythm that will make you vibrate and leave no one indifferent. Don’t just hear about it—experience it live.
Welcome to “Orígenes”! (“Origins” in english)
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Taiko, the powerful Japanese drum, and
embark on a sonic-visual journey that will connect you with the roots of this ancient
tradition. Each drumbeat evokes the strength and essence of gods and spirits as we

story of Taiko—its origins, uses, development, and international growth—and how a simple
drum has the power to transform us. Come, join us on this journey and experience the
ancestral energy of Taiko drums in an experience that fuses rhythm and tradition, bringing
you to the very heart of the legend.
