Taiko no Tabi, echoes of a journey to Japan

21 de February de 2026
On February 21, 2026, we experienced a truly unforgettable evening. Our friends and colleagues from the group Murasaki Taiko celebrated their fifth anniversary in grand style with a very special concert titled “Taiko no Tabi: echoes of a journey to Japan”, an artistic proposal that transported us—through the rhythm and energy of taiko—on a journey full of emotion, tradition, and strength.
For such a special occasion, Murasaki Taiko was joined by two highly प्रतिष्ठed artists closely connected to the group: Gastón San Cristóbal, artistic director of the Argentine group Nikyo Kan, and Mónica Vedia, artistic director of the Madrid-based group TaikoMon. Both have accompanied the group throughout its growth over the years and have collaborated with them on various occasions, making this reunion on stage especially meaningful.
The concert, held at the Centro Cívico de La Almozara en Zaragoza, was completely sold out, reflecting the audience’s enthusiasm and affection for the group. The response was extraordinary: a full house, vibrant energy, and a constant connection between performers and audience that turned the evening into an epic and deeply moving experience.
From the very first beats to the final piece, each performance was met with great enthusiasm, shaping a carefully crafted, powerful show rich in nuance. Without a doubt, an anniversary that will remain in the memory of everyone who had the privilege of attending.
Congratulations, Murasaki Taiko, on five years of passion, dedication, and artistry! May this journey continue with many more stages and shared emotions.
